Abergavenny Camera Club operates in the market town often called the gateway to the Brecon Beacons, with the Black Mountains rising immediately to the north and the Usk Valley stretching westward. Membership of the Welsh Photographic Federation connects the club to national competitions and a community of Welsh clubs. Landscape photographers in particular will find the surrounding terrain hard to match anywhere in Wales.
