Who we are

findacameraclub.com is a free UK directory of camera clubs and photographic societies. The site is run privately and is not a registered company.

What data we collect

When you use the directory

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised data about how people use the site, including pages visited, time on site, and general location (country or region level). This data does not identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

When you submit a club

If you submit a club via the submission form, we collect the details you enter: club name, town, postcode, region, type, website, and an optional contact email. This information is stored in Airtable and reviewed before being published. The contact email is stored privately and not displayed publicly.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not use your data for advertising.
• We do not require you to create an account.
• We do not use cookies beyond those set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.

• Google Analytics for anonymised usage statistics
• Microsoft Clarity for session recordings and heatmaps

• Cloudflare Turnstile for spam prevention on the submission form

If you have submitted data via the form and would like it removed or corrected, email us at hello@findacameraclub.com and we will deal with it promptly.
