The Afan and Nedd valleys — both deeply carved, heavily wooded, and historically shaped by coal and industry — give this Welsh club its name and much of its character. Afan Nedd Camera Club is a member of the Welsh Photographic Federation, competing in federation rounds and contributing to a network of clubs across South Wales. The Afan Forest Park alone provides year-round landscape and wildlife opportunities on the club's doorstep.
