Blaenavon is a UNESCO World Heritage Site — the ironworks, the Big Pit, the entire townscape testifying to the origins of the industrial world. Blaenavon Camera Club operates in this extraordinary setting, affiliated to the Welsh Photographic Federation and active in WPF competitions. Members have, quite literally, a world heritage landscape as their backyard, which gives the club's documentary and landscape work an unusually specific sense of place.
