South Woodham Ferrers is a planned new town built in the 1970s on the Crouch estuary, and the camera club it supports has grown alongside the community since. South Woodham Ferrers Camera Club competes through the East Anglian Federation and maintains its programme at swfcc.org.uk. The estuary and surrounding marshland give members a productive landscape close to hand.
