Few clubs in England have a setting as photogenic as Whitby — the abbey ruins, the harbour, the gothic atmosphere that famously inspired Bram Stoker. Whitby Photographic Society meets on Thursday evenings from 19:00 to 21:00, September to April, and channels its surroundings into a season-long programme underpinned by YPU competition.
